What Is Acupuncture?
Acupuncture involves the insertion of very fine, pre sterilised, disposable needles at specific points on the body's surface to help restore health on a physical, psychological and emotional level.

Acupuncture works by restoring balance and triggering the body’s natural response. It promotes relaxation and de-activates the analytical brain which is responsible for insomnia and anxiety.
Acupuncture stimulates nerve-rich areas of the skin surface in order to influence tissues, glands, organs and various functions of the body. The response to needles involves stimulation of the immune system, promotion of circulation, wound healing and pain modulation.
Most people find Acupuncture calming and relaxing and over time find they experience positive changes in their overall health. They may for instance find that they sleep better, feel more relaxed and have a more positive outlook. A session may also include cupping, moxibustion or massage.
